Traditionally roses have only ever been
posted bare root from November to March but great news....
We are now able to send roses in pots from
April to October.
A rose can make the ideal gift for Weddings, Christenings,
Birthdays or it enables you to get that special rose
that you don't want to wait until November for.
The cost of the potted rose is more than the bare root
because of the compost, pot and time taken to pot up.
Bare root roses are dispatched between November and
Feb/March, a time when the roses are dormant, it is
the traditional way to plant your roses.
The main advantage in bare root is they are cheaper
and easier to handle. The roses can also be stored in
their packaging for a time providing the roots are kept
moist and free from the frost (see
our planting and pruning section).
You can order your bare root roses from the 1st June
thus allowing you to get a popular or unusual rose that
may sell out before November. All bare root orders are
dispatched on a first come first served basis so the
earlier you order the better.
