About the event

A rose pruning workshop with Jonathan & Elizabeth Sawday can teach you the basic principles of pruning, such as when and how often to prune your roses, what tools to use, how to identify healthy and unhealthy branches, how to avoid common mistakes and injuries, and how to make your roses look neat and tidy. Jonathan & Elizabeth will also provide you with practical tips and advice on how to prune specific types of roses that you may have in your garden.

Our rose pruning workshop can be a fun and rewarding experience for anyone who loves roses or wants to learn more about them. You can join Jonathan & Elizabeth who will guide you through the process of pruning with hands-on demonstrations and explanations. You can also ask questions and get feedback on your own work. A rose pruning workshop can also give you a chance to meet other rose enthusiasts who share your passion for these wonderful flowers.  The workshop is 1 1/2 - 2 hours and will be outside so dress for the weather!

As always we finish with a hot drink and a slice of wonderful homemade cake!
