Camping Terms & Conditions, Rules and Safety Information

By proceeding with an accommodation booking, you agree to these terms and conditions and agree to follow the rules and safety information.

 

For the purposes of these terms and conditions ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ is referring to Apuldram Roses and, where the context so permits, its associated entities. ‘You’, ‘your party’ or ‘guests’ means any person who accesses the site under the accommodation booking, including any family, children, friends or other people visiting at your invitation.

Rules and Safety Information


 

  1. At all times, take care of your own safety, the safety of others and the safety and security of your possessions. Obey all rules, guidelines, signage and reasonable requests from our staff.

  2. Please act respectfully and respect the comfort of others visiting or staying at Apuldram Roses. Any unruly behaviour, excessive noise, drunkenness, bad and/or offensive language will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the property. If moving around the property at night, please keep noise to a minimum.

  3. Please do not damage or pick any roses or plants without permission.

  4. Please treat all our animals and birds with care and respect. Do not feed them without permission, and only feed them what is provided by the staff. 

  5. No parties, excessive alcohol consumption or drug use on site.

  6. Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted inside the bell tents or near the nursery, within the cafe area or canteen. If you would like to smoke on site, please let us know and we will provide suitable ashtrays and advise you of available smoking areas. Smoking areas may change depending on the season and activities on site. If we consider that you or your party has smoked in a bell tent, you will incur a £250 cleaning fee.

  7. Only park in the designated car park and drive slowly and safely around the property.

  8. No fires or barbecues are allowed on the property.

  9. Please leave our tents and surrounding areas in a clean and tidy manner and use the bins and facilities provided for any rubbish.

  10. Do not bring any outside plant material, seeds, fertilizers or similar onto the property.

  11. Please treat our facilities with respect and care. Do not waste water or do anything that might block drains, plumbing or impact water supply.

  12. Please leave gates as you find them i.e. close them behind you if they were closed. Do not climb on or over any fences, or enter any restricted areas or surrounding fields without permission.

Terms & Conditions

1. Camping at Apuldram Roses

 

1.1 Check-in time is from 3.30pm and  check-out time is 10.30am. If you need to modify these times, it must be arranged prior to your arrival, and an extension to your stay may incur an additional charge.

1.2 You must arrive before 6pm. Late arrivals must be agreed in advance.

1.3 Each bell tent may be occupied by a maximum of two (2) people. The number of occupants during your stay must not exceed the number of guests set out in your booking.

1.4 We do not permit children (under 16s) or pets to stay in our bell tents.

1.4 You and your party must obey all rules and safety information. 

 

1.5 Camping with us is for recreational purposes only. Anti-social behaviour, illegal acts, or commercial functions are not permitted.

2. Bookings and cancellations
 

2.1 All bookings are to be completed in advance via our website (apuldramroses.co.uk) and paid in advance.

 

2.2 You may request a booking be changed however any request will be subject to availability, the tariff may change depending on the new booking period and an administrative fee may also apply to make the change.

 

2.3 Cancellations can be made up to three (3) days before your check-in date to receive a full refund. After that time you will forfeit your booking fee. To cancel your booking you must make your cancellation via our website (apuldramroses.co.uk) or contact us directly. Your booking will not be cancelled until you have received written or verbal confirmation from us.

 

2.4 In the event of extreme weather or emergency conditions, it is up to our discretion to determine if the conditions are sufficiently inclement to warrant cancellation of your booking. In the event this should happen you will be notified as soon as possible.

 

2.5 No refunds are given for unused portions of your booking, including no-shows and early departures. A no-show is when you do not check-in on the day of your booking.

 

2.6 We reserve the right to refuse entry to our property if we reasonably determine that you, or someone in your party, could present a risk to the health or safety of our staff or other guests, and for any other reason we so determine at our discretion (including for our own purposes).


 

2.7 You are liable for all costs and charges arising as a result of these Terms. You authorise us to debit funds from your credit or debit card for all costs and charges incurred and for any other liability owed by you to us under these Terms (including, without limitation, loss or damage to the fixtures, fittings, inventory, dwelling or property, postage of lost item, cleaning fees, rubbish disposal and tow fees).

 

2.8 You are responsible for reading all communication addressed to you from us. This includes but is not limited to all booking information, access and parking instructions, electricity and water conservation throughout your stay with us. Failure to read all communication may result in vehicle damage or over-consumption of necessary resources throughout your stay.

 

 

3. Property and possessions

 

3.1 All breakages and losses to Apuldram Roses property, tents and equipment are to be reported to a member of staff.

3.2 You must return any borrowed property at the time of your departure and agree that we may charge you for the replacement costs of anything you lose or fail to return to us.

​

3.3 The bell tents are not serviced during your stay. If you require a change of bedding or additional bedding you must inform a member of staff as early as possible

​

3.4 We are not liable for any damage to personal property. This is inclusive of any damage incurred to your vehicle as a result of exposure to unpredictable inclement weather or conditions.

 

 

Indemnity & Liability

By entering the property, you and your guests agree that you use the site and its facilities at your own risk. You agree not to make any claim against Apuldram Roses, its owners, staff, volunteers, or contractors for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your stay or participation in any activities on site, except where this is not permitted by law.

 

You agree to indemnify us for any losses that we may suffer due to your stay, including but not limited to any damage to the dwelling, furniture, fittings, surrounding land, animals by you or your guests or failure to properly exit the dwelling including but not limited to failure to close tents, return borrowed goods or remove property from site. Compensation for any damage will be charged to you.

 

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to an amount not exceeding the fees paid by you to us for the stay the subject of the claim and neither party is liable for consequential or indirect loss.
