It’s almost November which means that the bare root season is upon us! It is time to get up to our ankles in mud and start planting those new season roses.

Planting bare root roses in November
November is the perfect time to be planting new roses and we have a huge range of bare root rose plants available, and lots if helpful advice to make sure your roses look happy and healthy in the spring.
The reason we plant bare root roses in the Autumn, is because the roses 'hibernate' in the cold months, more commonly referred to as being "dormant". This means you can comfortably move them without while they are sleeping for winter, which is much better for the health of the plant. It also allows the plant to establish it's root system before the growing begins in Spring.
